Social Media Intern
Responsibilities:
Content Creation:
Develop engaging and relevant social media posts, including text, images, videos, and infographics, aligned with brand guidelines.
Content Calendar Management:
Create and maintain a content calendar with scheduled posting times across various platforms.
Community Engagement:
Respond to comments, messages, and mentions on social media platforms in a timely manner, fostering positive interactions with the audience.
Social Media Analytics:
Monitor and analyze social media metrics (likes, shares, reach, engagement) to evaluate campaign performance and identify areas for improvement.
Campaign Development:
Assist in brainstorming and executing social media campaigns to promote company initiatives, products, or events.
Trend Monitoring:
Stay updated on emerging social media trends and identify opportunities to incorporate them into the company's strategy.
Social Media Platform Management:
Learn and utilize various social media platform features and functionalities effectively.
Reporting and Analysis:
Prepare regular reports summarizing social media performance and provide insights to the marketing team.
Required Skills and Qualifications:
Excellent written and verbal communication skills
Strong understanding of major social media platforms (Facebook, Instagram, Twitter, LinkedIn)
Creativity and ability to generate engaging content ideas
Basic graphic design skills (e.g., Canva) are a plus
Analytical skills to interpret data and track campaign performance
Attention to detail and ability to manage multiple tasks effectively
Familiarity with social media scheduling tools
Passion for social media and digital marketing
Education and Experience:
High School or Recent HS grad
Interest in marketing, communications, or a related field
Coursework or experience in healthcare is a plus
Prior experience managing personal social media accounts or basic social media marketing experience is a plus
