Medications can be provided intravenously (IV). IV infusion puts medicine directly into your bloodstream, making the medicines' delivery fast.

Through an IV or catheter, you can get:

Medicines for chronic diseases (autoimmune diseases, nervous system/neurology, gut/gastroenterology, rheumatology, and others), Antibiotics, Biologics, Fluids, and Intravenous gamma globulin (IVIG).

Infusions are not injectables, which are provided through an injection under the skin, muscle, etc. 

These medications are provided by healthcare professionals.
